We are passionate about building large scale art projects, where students work alongside artists and community members. Our students dream big and inspire wonder, celebrating New Orleans’ unique artistic traditions.

    Join us for weekly art classes at the Tigermen Den or embark on a D&D campaign at one of our partner cafes. Classes meet once a week for 90 minutes and run the full semester.

    We offer full day camps for Fall Break, Thanksgiving, Winter, and Spring Break. All Holiday Camps are held at the Tigermen Den, ages 7 - 13, 8:30 - 3:30 with aftercare until 5:30.

    Family Music Class presented by Blue House Music is an immersive music experience for infant, toddler and Pre-K age children along with their caregivers. Classes meet weekly during the school year.

Founded in 2016, Art Camp 504 has expanded from a small, four-week summer camp to a year-round program that offers both in-person and virtual classes. Our 501(c)3 non-profit organization is committed to accessibility, and we are proud to provide scholarships each year to students of all income levels, thanks to grants and our partnerships.

Additionally, Art Camp 504 has become a reliable source of financial support for working artists in New Orleans. We are committed to making Art Camp 504 a sustainable support system for our local artists and culture bearers.

Whether they’re natural jokesters or just curious about trying something new, this class is designed to help students build confidence, sharpen their wit, and find their unique comedic voice—no experience required!   MEET THE INSTRUCTOR: Mary Jacobs is a local comedian and Improv educator from New Orleans, Louisiana. She’s trained and taught across America, including and education from infamous Second City in Chicago. Her passion for educating youth in the comedic arts is no joke and believes comedy can connect us to our humanity and community in a deep (and silly) way. In addition to her experience as an educator she can be found across stages in New Orleans as a comedian, host, and MC. She is so looking forward to the opportunity to foster the next generation of jesters here in New Orleans. Students will harness the power of words and images to craft their own story or script and design a beautifully bound book. They’ll explore the fundamentals of storytelling, including plot, setting, characters, conflict, resolution, and building tension. Throughout the week, students will use a blend of writing and illustration to draft, refine, and publish their stories ✏️ In the bookbinding workshop, students will dive into the art of creating unique covers and binding their books or journals using collage, painting, and sewing techniques. In Screenwriting, they’ll learn how to format and structure their stories for the screen, making this a great choice for those planning to attend Film Camp the following week. Ziggy was born with hip dysplasia and has been on pain medication the last two years. He left his home planet of Zanzibrax for this special surgery on Earth. Nathan and Morgan visited our Space Crew for two days during Winter Camp, teaching them skills for the opening ceremony 🤹🏽 They also led a free workshop at our Outta this World Family Fest, our kids loved it so much that we are going to put together our own circus kit for outdoor play! 🚀 The Crescent Circus is a husband-wife duo, Nathan Kepner and Morgan Tsu-Raun, who fuse their expertise in magic and circus arts respectively to deliver a one-of-kind experience on stage. Beginning in New Orleans, The Crescent City, Nathan and Morgan have entertained corporate and collegiate audiences across the country and even overseas. Their original stage work has earned them six international titles, performances at London’s prestigious Magic Circle Theater and an appearance on The Tonight Show. Thank you to all our students, families and community members for an amazing Winter Camp! We had a blast building Stardust Spaceship - our journey through the cosmos has officially begun 🚀 During Winter Camp our students crafted hanging planets, satellites, miniature aliens and more. We learned power tool safety as we constructed the control panels and navigation system, and we decorated the ship for a Rock Star! Stardust Crew members developed space personas by making astronaut suits, helmets, and unique alien accessories. We shot a movie (coming soon) and cooked our own lunch. Students even got to design and press their own shirts with Captain Dee!
