INFANT TO PRE-K AGE CHILDREN & CAREGIVERS

Family Music Class presented by Blue House Music and Art Camp 504 is an immersive music experience for infant, toddler and Pre-K age children along with their caregivers. Through singing, movement and instrument play children will experience rich learning in key developmental domains while caregivers gain powerful tools to communicate with their little ones.
FAMILY MUSIC CLASS EXPLORES:
Early language development, especially phonemic sound, and gross motor development from crawling and first steps to finger-walking and motoring around
Eye tracking, attention, and connection with the caregiver
Imaginative play and emerging language from letter sounds to words and phrases
Gross motor development through movement and fine motor development through finger play
Musical thinking through instrument play, starting and stopping and recognizing patterns
CLASS INFORMATION:
ADDRESS: The Tigermen Den, 3113 Royal St in the Bywater
COST: Each 6 week session costs $120 per family. Includes all siblings that are of age. Scholarships and sliding scale discounts available
DROP IN: We reserve two spots per class for new families. Cost is $25 per class, advance online registration is required.

FALL SEMESTER: Our full 6 week session, Oct 29 - Dec 10 is SOLD OUT. We have daily drop in spots still available. Advance registration for drop in is required using the link below.
SPRING SEMESTER: We are now enrolling for Spring Semester 6 week sessions. Session One: Jan 14 - Feb 18. Session Two: March 18 - May 6. We offer two drop in spots per class, advance registration is required
MEET THE INSTRUCTOR:
Christopher “Mr. Chris” Sheard is a music teacher and teaching artist with over fifteen years in the field of early childhood music. He has been certified in Music Together, Wolf Trap Early Learning Through the Arts and the Young Audiences National Teaching Artist Credential. He is the founder of Blue House Music, a direct-to-family early learning music program that serves children under five and their caregivers. He currently works as the lower school music teacher at The McGehee School for Girls and Little Gate. He is a Bywater resident, father of two, and is so excited to join the Art Camp 504 team!
